Welcome to CryptoArt Sundays! We are excited to host an outstanding illustrator and an extremely talented artist this week. Meet VISBIIHe is part of the socially conscious NFT project The Humanians and is a master of exaggerated characters, abstract compositions and organic textures.

It’s no surprise that VISBII’s client list spans from the Wall Street Journal to the Women’s Wear Daily. The refreshing art style draws you in immediately. There’s something exciting, bubbly, and interesting in the way he blends colors and portrays larger-than-real characters through his illustrations.

For aspiring creatives, we also highly recommend checking out VISBII’s website and blog, where it shares some really helpful tips on how to break through creative blocks, manage becoming a freelance illustrator, and more.

Now let’s learn more about VISBII’s NFT art journey, The Humanians project and its breathtaking illustrations!

How did you learn about the NFT field and what drew you to create your own NFTs?

I actually didn’t know much about NFTs, except a few artist friends were releasing their own collections. When Odd One Out Labs reached out to me about their ideas, I couldn’t say no. I immediately fell in love with the concept, the team and the giving aspect of everything. It’s been an incredible learning experience so far and it’s been very interesting to see how blockchain and web3 can be applied to all of our lives.

What is your creative process?

My process always starts with the ideas in a notebook. For this project in particular, as we added an insane amount of features, the team and I filled about ten notebook pages with random ideas before sketching. Once we had an idea of what Humanians might look like, I went straight to Photoshop and created the three main characters, gave them unique personalities, selected traits, and basically stayed at my studio for the next three months.

You recently started a very successful NFT project, The Humanians, can you tell us about it and the inspiration behind it?

The inspiration was to bring a sense of humanity to the NFT field through a socially conscious collection that bridges the gap between art and utility, and to bring awareness to the growing mental health issue in our society today.

this world of humania It was conceived as an active force in both helping and raising awareness of the lack of human diversity and unrealistic self-image expectations perpetuated by modern and social media.

The media and entertainment industry has put forward unrealistic goals and ideas about what it means to be beautiful and acceptable. With Humanians’ agenda for a simple, “inclusive celebration of humanity”, we highlight the magnificence of all people who help end prejudice, alienation and insecurities. Humanists celebrate everyone and everyone, everywhere – all judgments aside.

What’s next for the project and how was your experience building a community around it?

For now, we are busy planning the staking market launch which will end in June 2022. As for art, I’m also planning a PFP collection that we’ll launch in the next few months.

My experience with the community has been incredibly refreshing! The founders and I have had weekly AMAs with our members, I love joining the Discord group to see what everyone is up to, and we also have a mental health therapist, Ouma, who is extremely active in the group! This is a great community!

Are there any CryptoArtists you would like to work with?

I definitely have a few favourites. I’m a big fan of Deekay Motion and the Let’s Walk collection. WD Willy from Karafuru is also a master of his craft and I have always loved the World of Women collection.

What are you currently working on?

I’ve got my hands on a few upcoming projects right now (I can’t reveal yet) and we’ve been working very hard behind the scenes on what’s next for The Humanians!
